Thank you, Ryan, for putting such detailed directions up on Tweeters. I
took my family up to this same spot today and we had great looks at 1
adult WHITE-TAILED PTARMIGAN and 2 GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCHes. The
ptarmigan was preoccupied with feeding and was oblivous to the high
traffic of hikers going by on the nearby trail. The rosy-finches were
busy bathing in the small stream.
