Tweeters readers,

This is turning out to be one of the all-time most-reponded-to topics for
discussion that I've seen in many moons on Tweeters. Keep in mind that it's a
discussion, and no one that I know of is trying to force anyone to learn
something they don't want to or feel the need to. Take a deep breath ...and relax (if
you want to).

The codes are just out there folks. Perhaps it's sort of like the time that
someone started using binoculars to look at birds. Who doesn't use them now? I
can bird without binoculars, but I can see them better with binoculars. I can
also bird without four-letter codes, but it's fun to know them, anyway. Tricks
or tools of the trade...
take your pick. There's nothing tricky about it, and there will NOT be a quiz
later.
