We captured an hatch year female Rufous hummer Sunday at Mc
Chord AFB at a MAPs banding station, and I also have one here at
my house in Puyallup.
Just a reminder to anyone who has not changed the water in their
feeder lately. this heat makes the solution go back quickly and the
birds are definitely still around. these may be migrating immatures
taking the way south for the first time.
