Just to add a quick confirmation to Clarice's note about
hummingbirds, we are still seeing the occasional Rufous here in North
Tacoma, and the resident Anna's Hummingbirds are coming to the
feeders throughout the day. It can be a real challenge to keep good
food in the feeders with the temperatures climbing into the 90s, but
if you do so you may still see some of these amazing little birds.

And on a non-birding note, the Woodland Skipper have showed up at the
lavender patch in our front yard, so be on the lookout for these
common, jet-shaped butterflies joining the Cabbage Whites and others
in your local habitat!
