First, we'd like to thank everybody who responded to our questions about
birding at Malheur NWR.

However, based on your responses, we decided to postpone our Malheur
trip until Spring. The heat (which means problems with our dog Sammy),
the hot and dry summer, and the less than optimal birding conditions
made it seem less attractive than Spring.

So, now what do we do for a September birding trip? We've gotten
feedback saying that Tillamook or Ocean Shores would be good birding
spots at this time of year.

What other spots are good for September birding?
