For the most part bird population sizes aren't estimated by state, but
based on Christmas Bird Count data I've seen (which admittedly gives us
relative abundance, not population sizes) there's no way Washington has
more crows than California.

The Audubon Society has a great web page that lets you access CBC results
by species, regions, even count circles -
