Hey all, I'm sorry to report that Keith Brady had a male RED-NECKED
PHALAROPE in the south pond on the trail to McAllister Creek at Nisqually
this morning. I'm only sorry because by the time I found out this bird was
gone. Or at least it wasn't present from 3:10 to 3:40 PM. There are
currently about 5 people in the state of Washington wondering why a lunatic
in a green Saturn gave them "the bird" this afternoon. I blame my bad karma
for losing this bird...I apologize to the universe...now can you bring this
bird back and have him at Nisqually tomorrow morning? Hello?

I've been at Nisqually the last two days...thought it might have cooled off
so I checked Scatter Creek and Weir Prairie this AM (grumble, grumble). I
did have a couple decent birds:

S. Creek-
NO Bluebirds present
1 male LAZULI BUNTING

Weir Prairie-
2 BOBWHITE flushed at my feet
4 House Wren
1 VESPER SPARROW

Nisqually-
3 Wilson's Phalarope (1 male)

Moral of the story, always bird Nisqually. Every day.
