Hello Tweeters and Inland Birders,

I will be leaving on a three-day birding adventure to Eastern Washington
Thursday night. While the weather conditions don't look especially
favorable for finding eastern "vagrants", I am still planning on at least a
little time at some of the known and maybe not-so-known migrant traps.
Here's the list of some of the spots I will try to visit. I would
truly appreciate any additions to the list which I may have missed or which
are not so well-known. Also, I would be very grateful for any birding
strategies for these locations or specific patches to check at these spots.

Lyons Ferry State Park, Franklin County
Apparently the place to be this season w/ Brown Thrasher and Chestnut-sided
Warbler

Palouse Falls State Park, Franklin County

Wind Dust Park, Franklin County

Bassett Park, Washtucna, Adams County

Kamiak Butte State Park, Whitman County

Steptoe Butte, Whitman County

Coppei Creek, Walla Walla County
While perhaps not showing the characteristics of a classic migrant
trap, this place intrigues me.

Davenport Cemetery, Lincoln County
On a winter scouting trip to the area, I could not find the actual
cemetery; specific directions to this spot would also be most appreciated.

Wanapum Recreation Area, Kittitas County
I'm assuming the area with the large poplar trees along the river is the
best spot to look for migrants.

Ginkgo State Park, Kittitas County

Finally, I may also venture up north to Pend Oreille County and was hoping
someone would know whether the Salmo Mountain Road is clear of snow.
