Mary and others,
Spent about an hour and a half yesterday from 3:30-5:00 pm with no luck
on the grosbeak. Ran into Marissa Benaventi just before I left and she
hadn't seen it either. There was also a UW class that had been out at
the fill from about 1:00 and the professor said they hadn't seen it. So
lots of eyes but no ayes.

Howdy,

Visited the Fill only briefly this evening, but can tell you the
Cinnamon Teal is still there, and a Ruddy Duck in all his blue-billed
glory has appeared as well. For those of you into Canada Geese there
are several different families of goslings, each at a different age.
It's fun to do a stage-of-development comparison of the different
babies. Saw a flock of Cedar Waxwings too. Wasn't able to stay more
than 30 min, no time to search for the Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Anyone
know if he's/the pair (?) is still around?

Good birding,
Mary
