Greetings -
I spent some time at the Montlake Fill this morning and afternoon,
before and after work. No luck finding the Rose breasted Grosbeak --
and a few other birders I ran across also reported no luck.

Other birds of interest though:
4 WILSONS PHALAROPES on Shoveller Pond in the late afternoon.
BULLOCKS ORIOLE - One chattering away, down past the 'dime-lot' in
the trees by the slough there.
3 'peeps' along Shoveller Pond in the morning. Got only a short look
at these, 2 seemed most likely to be Leasts, and the other probably
was too, but it seemed a little off.

I haven't seen the Yellow-headed Blackbirds in a couple visits over
the past week. Have they moved on too?

Blue-winged & Cinnamon Teal, along with abundant Cedar Waxwings keep
things flashy regardless of the status of rarities. And as others
have said, youngsters abound now at the Fill -- Canada Goslings at
various stages of growth, very small Mallard & Gadwall ducklings in
the slough & ponds, whining PBGreblets out past the Dime Lot towards
the crew building.

Not a bad commute route....
