RARE BIRD ALERT for SWAINSON'S HAWK!

The feature bird is BULLOCK'S ORIOLE .

Sightings for Thursday, June 5th

RARE BIRD ALERT! A dark phase adult SWAINSON'S HAWK was well seen at 1:30pm
flying low and westward over a field along No. 5 Road in Richmond between
Steveston Highway and Blundel Road. Birders should be on the look out for
this bird in the coming days.

At the subdivision north of the Boundary Bay Airport was a pair of BULLOCK'S
ORIOLES.

Sightings for Wednesday, June 4th

At Blackie Spit were 4 PURPLE MARTINS at the nest boxes.

In Pitt Meadows along Rannie Road at the first bend was 1 GRAY CATBIRD.

Along the Grant Narrows Dyke was 1 RED-EYED VIREO.
