The feature bird is LEAST FLYCATCHER .

Sightings for Saturday, June 7th

Along the Grant Narrows Dyke Trail approximately 200m from the start was a
singing LEAST FLYCATCHER.

Friday, June 6th

2 GREAT EGRETS, 2 GRAY CATBIRDS and 25 CASPIAN TERNS were found at the first
bend Rannie Road in Pitt Meadows.

Along the Grant Narrows Dyke Trail were 2 GRAY CATBIRDS, 3 EASTERN
KINGBIRDS, 2 BULLOCK'S ORIOLES and 2 RING-NECKED DUCKS.

At Reifel Refuge the HUDSONIAN GODWIT continues to be seen on the hightides
in the West Field. Also seen from the refuge were 3 AMERICAN BITTERNS, 3
BONAPARTE'S GULLS and 5 GREATER YELLOWLEGS.

Thursday, June 5th

RARE BIRD ALERT! A dark phase adult SWAINSON'S HAWK was well seen at 1:30pm
flying low and westward over a field along No. 5 Road in Richmond between
Steveston Highway and Blundel Road. Birders should be on the look out for
this bird in the coming days.

At the subdivision north of the Boundary Bay Airport was a pair of BULLOCK'S
ORIOLES.
