While on my way into work this morn I had a TURKEY VULTURE low over the Buse
lumber mill right along I-5 between Marysville and Everett, and at almost
the same time heard (while awaiting the traffic report) an unexpected
advertisement on KIRO 710: an advertisement for the Sibley Field Guides,
"perfect for Father's Day." I've never heard bird books advertised like
this before. I guess one more indication of the expanding popularity and
"mainstreaming" of our pursuit.
