Before I pick up the phone. I'd like to know what the proven methods
are. Just so I have all the relevant facts at hand.

Judging by the numbers of small goslings at Montlake Fill I am not
sure that addling the eggs is a possible solution. There is just seems
to force the birds to re-lay.

Fewer and smaller expanses of grass would I think be the best approach.
Less food would probably mean fewer geese and less run-off of
pesticides and herbicides. There might even be more salmon around as a
result but I suppose then we'd be plagued by bald eagles and opreys.
