Dave Beaudette reports some good birds from the Wenatchee, WA region. On 16
June an ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER was along US 2 east of Orondo in Douglas CO
WA. Orondo is about at milepost 140. At milepost 141.7 is a nice pullout
and the flycatcher was in the riparian zone below. WA DeLorme 83, CD-7.5. On
17 June Dave found a LEAST FLYCATCHER singing in the riparian zone along
Indian Camp Road about 1.7 miles from the Badger Mtn Road in Douglas CO. WA
DeLorme 83, D-7.5 A WHITE-FACED IBIS in breeding plumage was at a pond near
St Andrews, along Road N NE just north of Road 6 NE [St Andrews W Road] on
19 June. WA DeLorme 85, C-5. And finally, along with Nancy Scott and Roger
Johnson, Dave saw a second year male HARLEQUIN DUCK along the river along
the Loop Trail at East Wenatchee off of the 27th Street entrance on 21 June.

Michael Dossett saw a single WHITE-FACED IBIS from a pullout off WA 28 just
east of Wilson Creek, Grant Co WA, near milepost 71. WA DeLorme 69, A-8.

The LEAST FLYCATCHER reported last week by Gina Sheridan in northern ID was
seen again by Lisa Hardy on 20 June. This bird was along Black Rock Road
east of ID 3, just south of the Coeur d'Alene River in Kootenai CO near the
Lane Marsh. The bird was near the driveway of the second house, addressed
S17701. ID DeLorme 60, B-2.
