Hi Chatters,

For those who may not have picked up on the story that has been going on
bcvanbirds for the last several weeks, the last two mynas that were known in
Vancouver apparently died in mid-February. They have not been reported since
it was first reported that a birder had found the two dead birds in
mid-February.

Another sad moment in the history of life on this planet. I know that they
were not native to North America, but from a very viable population in the
early 1900's to then die out in the beginning of the 21st Century, to me is a
sign of what is to come to our planet, for the native species, too.
