Greetings All

The blooming of Azaleas and Daffodils signal the end of winter, such as we
had.

And, its time for me and Tom Aversa to beg you for your winter sightings.
Appropriate submissions would include species that are rare during any season
and those rare during winter. Also, any unusual tallies would be of interest.
The winter period covers December through February, and we need your records,
if possible, by 15 March. My deadline at North American Birds is particularly
tight.

Though Tom and I both try to monitor Tweeters (and I try to follow OBOL as
well), we don't catch everything. So, please do not assume that birds
reported to Tweeters will be picked up on by us.

Records should be submitted to FieldNotes at wos.org

Many Thanks and Happy Spring
Steven Mlodinow
