hello tweets,

i am not sure if tweets are aware of this radio program called "for the
birds", but i checked out the website and thought it was nice, especially
for raising the public's awareness and appreciation of birds. apparently,
this radio program is syndicated by some NPR stations. you can access the

In Fred Rogers' neighborhood of make-believe, King Friday befriended a bird named Troglodytes Aedon (the scientific name of the House Wren). Mr. Rogers loved and appreciated birds as well as children. On my radio program today, I did a little tribute to him. Here's a link to the script if anyone is interested.
