Tweets,

I thought I would mention the Great Egret records that I have in my
database.

Clallam; 3-8-87, one seen by Stan Smith and Rich Stallcup and his Wings
Group near 3 Crabs. Stan reported he had seen 2 others but had no dates. One
was at Salt Creek County Park and the other was at the county fairgrounds
(Stumpy's home) in Port Angeles and he thinks that he learned of that one
when Bill Tweit saw a possible one when flying in to Fairchild
International!
6-15 or 6-22-98, one, mouth of Sooes River (south of Neah Bay on way to
the Fish Hatchery) by Steve and Brenda Louik who are not birders but took my
wife and myself home and showed me the pictures they had taken.
Jefferson: 8-11-01, Gardiner Lagoon, one seen by Doug Watkins. Doug then
drove directly to Blyn (Clallam Co.) and saw one there (I suppose it was the
same bird but it would have had to leave Gardiner after Doug left and beat
the car to Blyn). It is only a little less than 4 miles by air to there
which is possible if somewhat unlikely. Surely the same bird reported on
8-13 from Gardiner Lagoon by Stu McRobbie and again at Gardiner Lagoon on
8-18 by Doug Watkins, Judy Mullally and Bob Price.
Clallam: 6-12-02, one Blyn, reported by Gene Kridler.

I thought I would throw in the Snowy Egret records:
Both Clallam: 6-23-99, Blyn, seen first by Linda Newberry at the Tribal
Center who called Gene Kridler who also saw it. On 6-24 it was seen by Judy
Mullally and myself. On 6-25 it was phoographed by Ruth Sullivan!
9-10-02, one Waatch River (south of Neah Bay), reported by Jake Reichner and
Chelsea Howell (I received this report from Bob Boekelheide who may know the
two observers and have more details).
