Hello all,

For those who do not already know, the new and "improved" budget for
2004 includes a variety of budget cuts for almost every environmental
program out there. I know this is not directly bird-related, but it
does affect all wildlife and natural areas, dearly loved by all of us.
I have forewarded a message I recieved from the National Wildlife
Federation to the list in the hopes that some of you out there in
tweeters land will try to help change this budget. I responded and
sent letters regarding the budget and other policies throught the NWF
website, and it took maybe ten minutes. I hope that this interests
some people, and that the budget hopefully gets turned around!
