There were some new birds in Bothell today . . . well, at least at the
local "pond" in back of Denny's and in front of QFC in Canyon Park. Five
ring-necked ducks in very lovely plumage were just floating there as if
they owned the place - three males and two females. Usually it's mallards,
an occasional bufflehead - very occasional - and perhaps a Canada goose.
These guys were really handsome.
