Hi Everyone-

In the Vancouver Lake area today 3/8, species diversity is as good as
I've seen in a while. Tree Swallows were present in their hundreds;
there are still plenty of cranes, geese, swans, and ducks. In the
sparrow department, 4 species of Zonotrichia can be seen in a space of 5
miles. A HARRIS'S SPARROW continues at the south end of Old Lower River
Road. I found an immature WHITE-THROATED SPARROW (morph unknown until
the next body molt) in Vancouver Lake Park. I hear Wilson Cady saw 3
SWAMP SPARROWS at the south end of Old Lower River Road, near the
intersection with Lower River Road in the slough on the south side (I
looked there, and didn't see any). Add Fox, Lincoln's, White-crowned,
and Golden-crowned, that's a lot of sparrows.
