Hello All,
Despite the wind, rain and cool air temps we found the following species in western Walla Walla Co..

#1---ICELAND GULL---1 sub ad. second winter bird on the poop piles north of Boise Cascade Pulpmill off HWY 12. the identicle bird is in Harrisons Seabirds of the World page 121
photo #484. This is the third bird at this location over the years. MerryLynn took several photos.

#2---Eurasian Wigeon---1 ad. male on the WWRdelta.

#3---Sandhill Cranes---58 birds headed north over the delta.

#4---Tundra Swans---216 birds over the delta

#5---Dunlin---300 birds out on the delta

#6---Bald Eagles---22 birds between Burbank and the WWRdelta, 9 on the delta.
#7---Mew Gull---1 ad. on the delta
#8---Herring Gulls---125+ on the delta
#9---Greater White-fronted Geese---250+ at MP 300 along Hwy 12.
#10---Coopers Hawk---1 ad. at McNary NWR,HQ.
Also 2 male Eurasian Wigeon on the Iowa Beef Slop Ponds by Dave & Chris Lindsay
