About 15 minutes ago we had our first rufous hummingbird of the year.
Surprisingly it was a female.

Yesterday, I spent about an hour and a half in the Snoqualmie valley and had
one snow goose with Canadas across from the Nestle plant, 6 tree swallows at
Sikes Lake, and a Northern Shrike on West Sno Valley Highway. Overall, a
good day of birding.
