Greets --
I am thinking about driving to SE Arizona for a two or three week
birding trip. I am primarily interested in 'must see' places in Arizona but
also birding stops (wildlife refuges, etc.) enroute. I am considering the
first two weeks of April/last week of March, hoping to avoid high elevation
places if snow storms are a variable.
In SE AZ, can anyone recommend places to stay that are friendly to
birders and near interesting places to wander around, binoculars at the
ready? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
