An absolute must if you are in the Tucson area is the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum just past the western outskirts of town. Also Sabino Canyon area is worth the walk. As with all people who have been to the Sonoran desert, I will never be able to get the sound of Cactus Wrens and Phainopeplas out of my head. And that is a good thing...
