While wandering McLendon's Hardware in Belfair this moring I found a single
box of the tube type hummingbird feeder. It was made by PerkyPets, same as
makes the other style hummingbird feeders. This tube type had the single
tube and feeder descending from the somewhat elongated glass nectar
container.

So it seems PerkyPets still makes the type of tube feeder someone out there
in Tweeterland was mentioning. The box appeared fresh and not as if it had
been shelf-sitting for several years.

My lone male rufous is holding out against juncoes in the dogwood and fierce
winds this afternoon as he patrols the yard and juices up for this latest
storm.
