Hi Tweets,

I decided to brave the wind and rain this morning for a quick trip along Wenzel Slough Rd. here in Elma. The rain wasn't too bad since I picked a good time which seemed to be in between downpours. The fields along the road have filled up with water once again making it a good time to see some ducks.

Here is what I saw today:
Mallard, Ring-necked duck, Lesser Scaup, American Coot, Common Goldeneye, Green-winged Teal, American Wigeon, Northern Shoveler, Bufflehead, Pied-billed Grebe, and one Wood Duck.

The Wood Duck is the first I've seen along Wenzel Slough Rd. It was swimming out in the open in a flooded field between the double silos and the single silo.
