It's too late to do anything now but my niece found the decomposing body of
a dead peregrine falcon on the beach near the pier at Dash Point a few weeks
ago. Is there someone she should have reported it to? I told her I heard of
people freezing bird bodies they find for some of the ornithologists among
us but didn't know what else to tell her. It has probably floated out to sea
long ago but we'd like to know for the future.
