The first blooms on Black Twinberry (_Lonicera involucrata_) were
showing at the Neawanna Banding Station, Seaside, OR. Salmonberry
(_Rubus spectabilis_)is more or less on schedule throughout the
region and most lowland Red-flowering Currant (_Ribes sangineum_)
is peaking.

Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and banding can begin in the
next week or so at the Neawanna Banding Station.
