Hello,
The flooded pastures in front of our house along the Brady Loop Road gave us
a wonderful variety of ducks this past weekend.

Birds sighted:
1 wood duck
3 pair eurasian wigeons
2 common mergansers
1 pr. ring necked ducks
3 pr. buffleheads
Many Canadian geese, wigeons, pintails, mallards, and especially shovelers.

Also a small flock of shorebirds that I couldn't identify- some sort of
sandpiper? - straight long beak probing the saturated grasses.

A side note-the first rufous hummingbird this year visited out feeder today.
