Barb and I decided to try one more time for the Red-throated Loon at
Wanapum Dam, pick up a few shrub-steppe birds in the Quillomene area, and
bird our way to the Sandhill Crane Festival in Othello via Lower Crab Creek
Road.
We had a great day in spite of the intermittent rain showers.

52 species were observed. Not too bad considering we did almost no walking
