Had 2 Sage Thrashers back on the Vantage Hwy this morning at MP 20, none
were encountered elsewhere despite heavy searching. Since this is
traditionally the first place in the whiskey dick for arrival, this
morning was likely the first arrival out there. I did however hear one
bird at Exit 11 on I-82 yesterday afternoon driving back from
California.
Getting more wildflowers blooming out there, noted today were scattered
blooms of:
Wild Onion
Balsamroot
Lupine

Good birding.
