This is the Vancouver Natural History Society's Rare Bird Alert for
Saturday, March 22nd, sponsored in part by Wild Birds Unlimited, with stores
in Vancouver and North Vancouver.
Sightings for March 22nd
At Elgin Heritage Park in South Surrey were 3 Eurasian GREEN-WINGED TEALS.
In Delta, near Highway 17 and 52nd Avenue was an AMERICAN KESTREL.
There were no reports for March 21st
Sightings for March 20th
At Terra Nova in Richmond were one LONG-EARED OWL and a GREATER
WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE, which was seen in a flock of SNOW GEESE.
In the Ranch Park area of Coquitlam was a BAND-TAILED PIGEON.
