Ned, When I Finally located my RED-COCKEDED WOODPECKER down in central Florida two weeks ago, a DOWNY WOODPECKER was nice enough to land on the same limb for an excellent comparison of size and markings! Fun question.

Has anyone made notes of interesting bird combinations they've had in their
bino/scope field of view? When I get interesting pairs, it occurs to me
that it could be memorable and worth noting, especially if the combination
strikes me as unusual and difficult to repeat.
