It seems to me this has happened several times. The one that comes to mind
first was having my life Painted Bunting along with two Indigo Buntings
together at Santa Ana NWR in Texas. In fact, they were all in one bush that
was so close we hardly needed binoculars. Wonderful! At that one spot, new
birds were coming in so fast and furiously that we could hardly keep track
of them, so I probably had several combinations. If I consulted my notes
I'm sure I'd find more. When I found my life LeConte's Thrasher in Borego
Springs last year, I think it was sitting on the same bush as another Indigo
Bunting.

While I haven't kept a list of this in the past, I think I might start.

Has anyone made notes of interesting bird combinations they've had in their
bino/scope field of view? When I get interesting pairs, it occurs to me
that it could be memorable and worth noting, especially if the combination
strikes me as unusual and difficult to repeat.
