This is the Vancouver Natural History Society's Rare Bird Alert for Tuesday,
March 25th, sponsored in part by Wild Birds Unlimited, with stores in
Vancouver and North Vancouver.

Sightings for March 25th

At Elgin Heritage Park in South Surrey were 3 Eurasian GREEN-WINGED TEALS
and a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD.

There were 2 SAVANNAH SPARROWS at Serpentine Fen in Surrey.

At Jericho Park in Vancouver were a VIRGINIA RAIL and a YELLOW-RUMPED
WARBLER.

In a late report for March 23rd, a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was seen at Deas
Island Park.

Sightings for March 24th

At Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver were an ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD and 2
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS.

Sightings for March 23rd

Along the Serpentine River at Serpentine Fen in Surrey was a probable
STILT SANDPIPER. Further confirmation is desired.

At Elgin Heritage Park in South Surrey was a Eurasian GREEN-WINGED TEAL.

Over Mount Seymour Parkway in North Vancouver was a TURKEY VULTURE.
