There is usually at least one bird around all winter - though they are
more obvious in Spring. More than one was typical in previous years
however the number of wigeon in the area went down when the fields next
to the IMA beside Husky Stadium were converted to turf and before there
was a more concerted policy to keep wildfowl from fouling the playing
fields.

Green Lake is the best place to see Eurasians - they are ususally
pretty approachable. At least two seem to be typical for there.
