Once while on an Audubon field trip to Whidbey Island, we were all looking
at a perched Adult Bald Eagle. A Rufous Hummingbird chose that time to
check out the eagle also. They were eyeball to eyeball with only a few
inches between them. That to me was a "quirky combo".
