Just a friendly reminder to those like me who might need it from time to
time . . .
Before ordering merchandise online from an unfamiliar company, don't forget
to check the company out on the Better Business Bureau site.
http://www.bbb.org
All you need is the company's name and city, and it lets you know whether or
not the company is in satisfactory standing.
For example:
Eagle Optics in Middleton, WI has a satisfactory record.
AAA Camera in NY, NY has an unsatisfactory record . . . . something I wish I
had discovered before attempting to buy binoculars from them (something
other Tweeters might be tempted to do given the prices they advertise).
Please don't ask me to go into the details. I'm still fuming and might have
to use bad language to thoroughly express myself.
