Subject: Tundra Swans around?

Dear Mark and Tweeters,
I saw 100 or so Tundra Swans on Fir Island on Sunday, March 23. There were also a hundred or so distant swans that I couldn't ID, so maybe there were Trumpeters with them as well. Several casual nature-watchers told me they had seen a large flock of Trumpeter Swans in the same area, but I think they had assumed the Tundras were Trumpeters.
Good birding,
Gary Bletsch
