Tweets - for the last week I've been spending about 2 hours a day pulling
Scot's Broom. I've completed that task as of this morning (not that I
removed ALL the Scot's Broom, but it's now limited to three large clumps
at the north end of the meadow, plus more to the NE of the meadow).

This morning, the first nice, sunny, warm morning in WEEKS featured:

G.W-FRONTED GOOSE Lone bird flew north up Interpretive Trail
Virginia Rail At least 3 calling spontaneously near
boardwalk
Wilson's Snipe One of my best looks ever, E end of
boardwalk
Marsh Wren Everywhere, visible, singing
Bushtit Pair building nest N of E end of
boardwalk
Savannah Sparrows In numbers, singing
Purple Finch Heard singing several times
American Goldfinch One heard, but unfindable, at S end of E
Meadow

Also, a Garter Snake was enjoying the sunshine.
