This is a few days late, but oh well...

At around 4:00 pm last Thursday, I looked out my
kitchen window, and to my complete surprise, there was
a bobcat rubbing up against the bird feeder pole. It
preceded to take a short tour of my yard , and then
decided to take a cat-bath about ten feet from the
window. I got a good look at its pointed ears and
"bobed" tale. After hanging around for about 15
minutes, it noticed something in the woods and slinked
stealthily off (no doubt pursuing some hapless
creature). I was able to obtain several good
photographs in the process. It is good to know that we
still have such wild animals in a seemingly urbanized
area.
