Violet Green Swallows showed up high over the house on Friday, so I told Jerry to
put up the boxes.

He was up on the ladder under the eves of the garage when four birds. began
swooping, chittering and fighting. They were so excited they flew right under his
armpit while he was trying to screw the box on the wall.
We've had swallows raise at least one clutch in our boxes for several years now.
SO, I have to think they were returnees. They tuned in on it immediately.
