Just some highlights from today.
dunlin 48 at County Ponds (Hwy 26 Saline Ponds)
- also found the two snow x Canada hybrids I had seen on 18 Jan. of this year NE of Potholes Res.
Atleast 5,00 sandhill cranes and 20,000 Canada geese at Corfu Unit of Columbia NWR. Birds were near the Corfu road when I got there just before 0700 hours.
Corfu Woods I had a slate-colored fox sparrow, Lincoln sparrow, 2 ruby-crowned kinglets and 1 yellow-rumped warbler.
At Para Pond, the uplands across the road, I had 3 snow geese (last Monday I had 4 here as well), 1 white-fronted goose
I STILL CAN NOT FIND A AMERICAN AVOCET? I have not seen a black-necked stilt either although I was told there are 3 at Birders Corner.
