Newly arrived at McLane Creek Nature Trail are female
Redwinged Blackbird, Cedar Waxwing, and Painted Turtle.

Date: March 30, 2003
Location: McLane Creek Nature Trail, Capitol State Forest,
Thurston County, Washington

Walked my usual 1.7-mile, figure-8 trail loop between 0814 and
1000, but with numerous detours. Cloud cover variable from 50%
to 100%. Saw my first Painted Turtle of the season sunning on
a log.
