Fri, 3/21 5:55 pm. Tom Aversa. Reporting our trip to the Snoqualmie
Valley. It was a Seattle Audubon trip. We had 7 WESTERN BLUEBIRDS
near Snoqualmie Farms; those were the most notable birds we saw. They
were sort of near the eagle nest which is right near the farms there in
Carnation. Also had an AMERICAN BITTERN at Sykes Lake that was right out
in the open.

Sunday, March 30, 1:16pm. Martha Taylor, 206 523 4677. Today at
Northcreek Park at the UW Bothell campus we saw a shrike, which we
believe was a NORTHERN SHRIKE. We also heard and MARSH WRENS and
despite about a 100 swallow boxes tied to the trees, no swallows.
That's it, good luck and good birding.

Monday, March 31, 3:15pm. This is Rachel Llawson, Birdbox Sys Admin.
On 3/31, Bill Whipple, 206 329 5828, reports that he has a pair of
SCRUB JAYS nesting across the alley from his backyard, which is at
914 13th Ave E on Capitol Hill in Seattle. That's it, good birding.
