My first female RUfous hummer showed up Sunday and yesterday the male
displayed for her. We only knew she was present because we saw her drink at the
feeder and then sit in a green bush, where she blended in very well.
but HE knew exactly where SHE was, and started displaying, performing lovely high
arcs with terrific sonic boom descents. A loud chitter at the bottom of the loop , and
repeat, and repeat, and repeat........
I don't know if she was impressed, but we were.Clarice Clark
