I was downloading weather satellite images in search of an
explanation for the slow migration and noticed a pattern I
recognized from the last biggish el Ni?o.

I'm not making any predictions, but the weather system showing
on 00May02 ir photo looks remarkably like the one from May 2,
1998. Shorebird watchers be warned....
