Hi Ian,

Ive been away from the computer for several days, and just now read
your post. Here is a list of first arrivals reported for WA state.
Many of these have been on Tweeters and others came from
http://www.purplemartin.org/scoutreport/2003/scout.html
The folks who run the site get first hand reports, and sometimes I send
them reports Im aware of that I dont see listed in their data.
Apparently the Tacoma Narrows report is Titlow.

Cathlamet 27 April 2003
Tacoma Narrows 21 April 2003
Shilshole Bay 20 April 2003
Ellisport 20 April 2003
Woodard Bay 20 April 2003
Hood Canal 20 April 2003
Gig Harbor 20 April 2003
Vancouver 20 April 2003
Olympia 14 April 2003
Spanaway 12 April 2003
Luhr Beach 11 April 2003

And here are some other reports that I dont currently see on that
website, some from Tweeters, or personal communications, and the last
one is my observation of martins at English Boom on Camano Island
this morning.

Vashon Island 20 April 2003
Ridgefield NWR 25 April 2003
Tulalip Bay 30 April 2003
Skamania Landing 1 May 2003
Camano Island 3 May 2003
